“There’s no better place to invest than your own community,” said Tom Simmons, advisory board president of the Brunswick County Community Foundation. “By supporting these organizations, we help ourselves and our neighbors.”

BCCF is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation and is led by a local volunteer advisory board. Each year, BCCF uses dollars from its endowment funds to make grants to nonprofits that help the local community.
