She is a Chowan County native, JA Holmes High School and Peace College graduate and a local mortgage lender with BB&amp;T. She married her high school sweetheart and has two grown children and a grandson.<\/p>\r\n<p>Dr. Robert Christian Ford was named board vice president. He is the co-owner of the Chowan Animal Hospital and a graduate of NC State University.
