Community Foundation for Randolph County awards more than $5,000 in local grants at 25th anniversary celebration
The board of advisors of the Community Foundation for Randolph County announces $5,360 in local grant awards from its community grantmaking fund and celebrates 25 years of community impact.
This year’s nonprofit recipients include:
- $2,000 to Asheboro Shelter of Hope to purchase new beds
- $960 to Junior Achievement of the Triad for the Mission Possible: Ready for Work, Ready for Life program
- $1,000 to Randolph County Partnership for Children for the Getting to the Bottom of a Children’s Health Issue! Program
- $1,400 to Trees NC for the East Side Food Oasis program
Kimball Markham, board president, thanked the community for its support of the Community Foundation for Randolph County. “These grants are important to our community and our quality of life,” he said. “Critical programs would not be possible without the generosity of many individuals and organizations that have supported Randolph County’s community fund.”
