{"tinyMCE_dummy":"","title":"Community grants available from the Craven County Community Foundation","url":"\/news\/community-grants-available-from-the-craven-county-community-foundation-2022","meta":{"title":"","description":"","excludeFromSitemap":"No"},"ordinal":999,"content":"<p>The board of advisors of the <a href=\"\/communities\/coastal-plain-south\/craven-county\">Craven County Community Foundation<\/a> will begin accepting grant applications from nonprofits serving needs in the local community.<\/p>\r\n<p>Funds are available for nonprofit organizations serving Craven County and will be awarded from the community grantmaking fund. Grants typically range from $500 to $15,000.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p>Applications are available beginning June 24. Visit <a href=\"\/\">nccommunityfoundation.org<\/a> for information about applying. The deadline for applications is July 26 at noon.<\/p>\r\n<p>Grants are funded through the affiliate&rsquo;s unrestricted endowment fund for community needs; the Brian Fisher Endowment to support nonprofits in the field of medicine and healing; the Harry and Virginia Killian Endowment and the Richard Chapman Cleve Fund to support general charitable purposes; and the Nelson Family Memorial Endowment to support youth, the elderly, and health-related needs.<\/p>\r\n<p>Grants are not available for regranting purposes, capital campaigns, capital improvements, out-of-state travel or for individuals.
