{"tinyMCE_dummy":"","title":"Community grants available from the Edgecombe Charitable Foundation","url":"\/news\/community-grants-available-from-the-edgecombe-charitable-foundation-2022","meta":{"title":"","description":"","excludeFromSitemap":"No"},"ordinal":999,"content":"<p>The board of advisors of the Edgecombe Charitable Foundation will begin accepting grant applications from nonprofits serving needs in the local community.<\/p>\r\n<p>Funds are available for nonprofit organizations serving Edgecombe County and will be awarded from the community grantmaking fund. Grants typically range from $500 to $5,000 with a maximum of $10,000 for a single organization for an \"Impact Grant.\" Special consideration is given to grant proposals with a focus on education from the Mary Ferebee Howard Endowment Fund.<\/p>\r\n<p>Applications are available beginning July 15. Visit <a href=\"\/communities\/coastal-plain-north\/edgecombe\">nccommunityfoundation.org\/Edgecombe<\/a> for information about applying. The deadline for applications is noon on Aug. 16.<\/p>\r\n<p>Grants are not available for regranting purposes, capital campaigns, capital improvements, out-of-state travel or for individuals.
