Community grants available from the Franklin County Community Foundation (March 2021)

The board of advisors of the Franklin County Community Foundation is accepting grant applications from nonprofits serving needs in the local community.

Funds are available for nonprofit organizations serving the local community in Franklin County and will be awarded from the community grantmaking fund. Grants typically are typically $500.

Applications are available beginning March 26. Visit this page for information about applying. The deadline for applications is April 27 at noon.

Grants are not available for regranting purposes, capital campaigns, capital improvements, out-of-state travel or for individuals. Funds are awarded by the board of advisors of the Franklin County Community Foundation, an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation.

“Franklin County is stronger thanks to the work of the many nonprofits that serve our community,” said Al Wheless, board president. “We are honored to offer grants to help continue their important missions.”
