Community grants available from the Montgomery County Fund (March 2021)

The board of advisors of the Montgomery County Fund is accepting grant applications from nonprofits serving needs in the local community.

Funds are available for nonprofit organizations serving the local community in Montgomery County and will be awarded from the community grantmaking fund. Grants typically range from $500 – $3,000.

Applications are available beginning March 19. Visit this page for information about applying. The deadline for applications is April 20 at noon.

Grants are not available for regranting purposes, capital campaigns, capital improvements, out-of-state travel or for individuals. Funds are awarded by the board of advisors of the Montgomery County Fund, an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation.

“Montgomery County is stronger thanks to the work of the many nonprofits that serve our community,” said Michael Hayes, board president. “We are honored to offer grants to help continue their important missions.”
