Community grants available from the Yadkin County Community Foundation (March 2019)
The board of advisors of the Yadkin County Community Foundation is currently accepting grant applications from area nonprofits that serve general needs in the local community.
Funds are available for nonprofit organizations that serve general community needs in Yadkin County. Grants will be awarded from the Yadkin County Legacy Fund and the Pauline “Polly” Hudspeth Wood & Dr. William L. Wood, Sr. Endowment. Awarded proposals have historically averaged $1,500 although the board will review requests up to $5,000. Grants typically range from $500 to $2,000. Total grantmaking will not exceed $7,500.
