Community grants available from the Yadkin County Community Foundation (March 2020)

The board of advisors of the Yadkin County Community Foundation is accepting grant applications from nonprofits serving needs in the local community.

Funds are available for nonprofit organizations serving needs in Yadkin County and will be awarded from the Yadkin County Community Fund and the Pauline “Polly” Hudspeth Wood & Dr. William L. Wood, Sr. Endowment.

Awarded proposals have historically averaged $1,500 although the board will review requests up to $5,000. Total grantmaking will not exceed $13,000.

Applications are available online beginning March 13. Visit this page for information about applying. The deadline for applications is noon April 14.

Grants are not available for regranting purposes, capital campaigns, capital improvements, out-of-state travel or for individuals. Funds are awarded by the board of advisors of the Yadkin County Community Foundation, an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for our nonprofits to expand their impact in our local community,” said Tom Fagerli, YCCF board president. “We are excited to partner with our local nonprofit community to continue supporting the Yadkin County.”
