Currituck-Dare Women’s Fund awards more than $4,000 in local grants
The Currituck-Dare Women’s Fund recently announced $4,250 in local grant awards from its community grantmaking fund.
This year the board granted:
- $812.50 to the Children & Youth Partnership for Dare for the Diaper Bank – A Change for the Better
- $812.50 to Interfaith Community Outreach, Inc. for direct services and cancer outreach for Dare and Currituck women and children
- $1,000 to Kids First, Inc. for accredited child abuse comprehensive services
- $812.50 to Outer Banks Hotline for transitional housing for survivors
- $812.50 to The Beloved Haven for the drop-in center
Di Small and Ginger Webster, co-chairs, thanked the community for its continued support. “We are proud to support these nonprofit programs that are so vital to the community,” they said. “We are grateful to the many generous members that have supported our work to inspire philanthropy across our community.”
