Each organization shared stories of how the grant funding was used.<\/p>\r\n<p>Board Chair Tommy Anderson gave a touching tribute to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nccommunityfoundation.org\/the-back-story\/mary-ferebee-howard-adventurer-philanthropist\">Mary Ferebee Howard<\/a>.
