Edgecombe celebrates grants!

Edgecombe Charitable Foundation had a great time hosting the 2013 grant award winners. Each organization shared stories of how the grant funding was used.

Board Chair Tommy Anderson gave a touching tribute to Mary Ferebee Howard. Ms. Howard’s endowment fund has awarded nearly $200,000 to the Edgecombe County area since her fund was created, with a special focus on education-based projects.
