Franklin affiliate offers mini grant program for local teachers

The Franklin County Community Foundation has announced the availability of small grants to teachers in Franklin County from its Education Fund.  The mini-grants program was established to encourage creativity in effective teaching throughout the Franklin County School System.

All public school teachers and support personnel in grades pre-K through 12 are eligible to apply for grants up to $350 for classroom projects or enrichment programs. The deadline is Feb. 10, and grantees will be notififed by the end of February.
