Franklin County Community Foundation accepting grants applications
The Board of Directors of the Franklin County Community Foundation will be accepting grant requests for community projects funded from its community fund from March 20 – April 28, according to Bob Powell, board president.
Funds are available for nonprofit organizations that serve general charitable needs in Franklin County. Grants of $500 will be given.
Applications are available online only – look to the tabs to the left and click on Applying for Grants. The deadline for submitting applications is April 28.
The Franklin County Community Foundation is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation. The community fund was established to help support local charitable needs through annual grants. In addition to Powell, Franklin County Community Foundation board members are: Paris Branch-Ramadan, Diane P. Fleming, Walter Hurst, Holt Kornegay, Al Wheless, and Ruth Wheless
