The Franklin County Community Foundation, a North Carolina Community Foundation affiliate, has awarded $6,500 in grants to seven organizations supporting the local community. 

The board of advisors granted: 

• $1,000 to 4 Point 0: Mobile Learning Clinic, Inc. for Round 2: Adult GED Program 
• $1,000 to Care & Share Center, Inc. for general operating support 
• $1,000 to Children’s Cancer Partners of the Carolinas for Franklin County Childhood Cancer Safety Net 
• $1,500 to Community Development Corporation for Louisburg Senior Health With Care 
• $500 to Holt Brothers Foundation for Kickoff to Courage: A Kid’s Book About Cancer 
• $500 to Masonic Home for Children at Oxford for Community Support Center 
• $1,000 to Mo2bil, Inc. for Youth Entrepreneurship Lifestyle and Leadership Project 

“It’s an honor to support local nonprofits and organizations through our grantmaking,” said Ashley Jarema, advisory board president of the Franklin County Community Foundation. “By working with our donors to build permanent sources of support, we help strengthen the fabric of our community.” 

Funds for 2026 grants came from FCCF’s community grantmaking fund and the Franklin County Education Fund Endowment. Each year, FCCF’s advisory board uses dollars from its endowment funds to make grants to eligible local organizations, including nonprofits, local governments, schools and churches.
