Futrell-Mauldin Community Foundation for Greater Rocky Mount awards nearly $60,000 in grants

The Futrell-Mauldin Community Foundation for Greater Rocky Mount has awarded $59,500 in grants to organizations supporting the local community. 

The board of advisors granted: 

Funds for the grants came from FMCF’s community grantmaking fund.  

“Our hope is to help these organizations do what they do best,” said Sally Adams, advisory board president of the Futrell-Mauldin Community Foundation. “It’s all about supporting our community.” 

FMCF is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation and is led by a local volunteer advisory board. Each year, FMCF uses dollars from its endowment fund to make grants to nonprofits that help the local community.
