Giving in response to the tragic shooting in Orlando
The following is a list of ways to help the Orlando community following the June 12 mass shooting in an LGBTQ nightclub:
Funds:
Our Fund Foundation is collecting funds for nonprofits in Orlando supporting survivors and victims’ families and friends.
The OneOrlando Fund has been formed by the City of Orlando in partnership with the Central Florida Foundation.
The Florida Disaster Fund has been activated by the Governor of Florida.
Orlando LGBTQ nonprofits:
The GLBT Community Center of Orlando is organizing a range of services and resources on the ground in Orlando.
Two-Spirit Health Services offers mental health services to LGBTQ communities in Orlando, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
The Zebra Coalition is a network of organizations serving LGBTQ youth in Central Florida.
