{"title":"Graham County Community Foundation announces local scholarships","content":"<p>The board of advisors of the Graham County Community Foundation announces the availability of the Laura Phillips Memorial Scholarship, the Sarah Campbell Scholarship, the Rodney Orr Scholarship and many other statewide scholarships, according to Gene Farley, board president.<\/p>\r\n<p>Farley said this is a good opportunity for Graham County students to further their educations. &#8220;The Graham County board wants to raise awareness among area youth about opportunities offered through scholarships held with the North Carolina Community Foundation,&#8221; he said. The Graham County Community Foundation is an affiliate of NCCF.<\/p>\r\n<p>Scholarships are available for students meeting various eligibility requirements detailed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nccommunityfoundation.org\/scholarships\">online<\/a>, where applications can be downloaded. Applications also may be available at the high school.
