The Granville County Community Foundation, a North Carolina Community Foundation affiliate, has awarded $22,050 in grants to 13 organizations supporting the local community.

The board of advisors granted:

• $3,000 to Area Congregations in Ministry for Backpack Buddy Hydration
• $1,000 to Autism Society of North Carolina for Autism Resource Specialists in Granville County
• $1,200 to Central Regional Hospital for year three of the Central Regional Hospital Student Recruitment Project
• $4,000 to Diaper Bank of NC for Granville County Hygiene Access and Stability Initiative
• $1,200 to The Joel Fund for Monthly Veteran Breakfasts
• $500 to Legal Aid of North Carolina, Inc., to support Granville County residents in need of civil legal services
• $2,000 to Masonic Home for Children at Oxford for Community Support Center
• $3,350 to Mo2Bil for Youth Entrepreneurship Lifestyle and Leadership Project
• $500 to North Carolina Symphony for Music Discovery for Granville County Preschoolers
• $2,300 to Oxford United Methodist Church Summer Literacy for Summer Literacy Program
• $2,000 to Prevent Blindness North Carolina for Granville County Vision Screening Program
• $2,000 to Ripe for Revival for Mobile Market Program

“Communities thrive when the nonprofits and local organizations serving them have sustained support. We’re proud to support these organizations,” said Dennis Daniel, advisory board president of the Granville County Community Foundation.

Funds for 2026 grants came from the Martha Frances Pruitt Fund, the Dr. and Mrs. C. Bryan Finch Fund, and the Annette Clark Endowment. Each year, GCCF’s advisory board uses dollars from its endowment funds to make grants to eligible local organizations, including nonprofits, local governments, schools and churches.
