Greene County Community Foundation awards local grants (November 2015)
The Greene County Community Foundation board of advisors honored several local nonprofits with awards from its community fund, according to Dora Pasour, grants chair.
2015 nonprofit recipients include:
- Greene Central High School for “Christmas Time with FCCLA”
- Snow Hill Primary School for “Sensory Swing for Special Needs”
- Snow Hill Primary School for “Assistive Technology for EC Students”
- West Greene Elementary School for “Community Mentor Program”
President Christie Mozingo thanked the community for support of the Greene Community Foundation. “These grants are important to our community and our quality of life,” she said. “Critical programs would not be possible without the generosity of the many individuals and organizations that have supported Greene County’s community fund.”
The awards were presented at the Greene County Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours on Nov. 2 at the Greene County Museum.
