Greene County Community Foundation awards local grants (November 2016)

The board of advisors of the Greene County Community Foundation announced local grant awards from its community grantmaking fund at a ceremony hosted at the Greene County Museum today.

This year’s nonprofit recipients include:

Greene County Public Library
Greene County Schools
Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina
Muscular Dystrophy Association
Prevent Blindness North Carolina
Snow Hill Primary

Christie Mozingo, board president, thanked the community for its support of the Greene County Community Foundation. “These grants are important to our community and our quality of life,” she said. “Critical programs would not be possible without the generosity of many individuals and organizations that have supported Greene County’s community fund.”
