Greene Lamp Community Action receives grant from Lenoir County Community Foundation

A grant from the LCCF will allow Greene Lamp to purchase educational manipulatives to be used by children served by the program. The specially adapted manipulatives will aid the children in maximizing their developmental progress during their time away from school.

Sherry Herring, coordinator of Greene Lamp, said the grant will help with the program’s educational goals of boosting progress by eight to ten percent a year.
