Haywood County Community Foundation awards more than $4,000 in local grants (October 2021)
The board of advisors of the Haywood County Community Foundation recently announced $4,150 in local grant awards from its community grantmaking fund.
The board granted:
- $1,650 to the Fines Creek Community Association for the Fines Creek Community Association (FCCA) MANNA Pantry Refrigerator Replacements
- $1,400 to Clothes to Kids of Haywood County, Inc. for “Starting a New Chapter”
- $600 to KARE, Inc. for Child Medical Evaluations in Haywood
- $500 to HIGHTS for Healthy Foods for Compass Program
Clay Dangerfield, board president, thanked the community for its continued support of the Haywood County Community Foundation. “We are proud to support these nonprofit programs that are so vital to the community,” he said. “We are grateful to the many generous individuals and organizations that have supported our work to inspire philanthropy across our community.”
