Grant funding focus

The HCWGMW Fund will support projects focused on healthy eating and active living initiatives with at-risk youth. Nonprofits collaborating with other organizations will be considered. Letters of support from the partner organization will be required when submitting.

What to include in your LOI

Letters will be accepted from nonprofits serving programs in Camden, Gates, Pasquotank and Perquimans counties. Brief letters of inquiry should include a funding request and a one- to two-page summary of the project/program.

Timeline

• Letters of inquiry due via email to Natalie Jenkins Peel by May 10.
• Invitations to apply for grant funding via our online portal will be sent on June 1.
• The application deadline is July 31.
• Grant awards will be made in September.
