Historic Jarvisburg Colored School Museum featured in video

NCCF has many ties to the Historic Jarvisburg Colored School Museum. The Currituck-Dare Community Foundation has awarded grants to the organization, and we are honored to hold a designated endowment to benefit the school. NCCF retiree and former Regional Director Peggy Birkemeier is one of the community leaders who helped get the effort off the ground. Her work as an advisor and current volunteer is spotlighted in this recent video, which also features interviews with former students. Watch above.
