JCCF presents 2014 grants
The board of advisors of the Johnston County Community Foundation awarded grants totaling more than $36,000 to a variety of organizations July 8.
Grantees included:
- Autism Society of NC. Inc. for 2014 Camp Royall Program Scholarships
- Ava Gardner Museum for the Ava Gardner Festival
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Wayne County, Inc. for their Johnston County Street SMART program
- Harbor Incorporated for General Operating Support
- Johnston County Animal Protection League, Inc. for their Low Cost Spay/Neuter Program
- Johnston County Arts Council, Inc. for their Artists-in-the-Schools program
- Johnston County Industries, Inc. for Personal Enrichment
- Johnston County YMCA for their Summer Day Camp for Middle School Youth
- Johnston County Youth Services, Inc. for General Operating Support
- Johnston Health Foundation Education and Wellness Program for Cancer Patients at Johnston Health
- Make A Wish Foundation of Eastern North Carolina, Inc. for Wish Granting in Johnston County
- Me Fine Foundation for General Operating Support
- Prevent Blindness NC for their Star Pupils program
- Public Library of Johnston County and Smithfield for their eBooks @ your library initiative
- Reach Out and Read for General Operating Support
- Special Olympics NC, Inc. for support of Special Olympics in Johnston County
