JCCF supports historical society
The Jones County Community Foundation (JCCF) completed its second ever grant cycle in 2010, by presenting a $1,000 grant to the Jones County Historical Society. The grant was awarded as part of the Jones County Heritage Festival held at the Jones County Civic Center.
The grant was used to complete the design and publication of 1,000 volumes of a book entitled, The Architectural History of Jones County, NC.
The goal of completing the books was to provide a tool to bolster a renewed sense of pride and community spirit among the current and future residents, as well as the neighbors and friends of Jones County.
The grant award to the historical society continues JCCF’s mission to enhance the quality of life in Jones County through philanthropy.
