Jones County Community Foundation awards $2,000 in local grants

The board of advisors of the Jones County Community Foundation recently announced $2,000 in local grant awards from the community grantmaking fund.

This year the board granted:

$500 to Maysville United Methodist Church for the “Feed My Sheep” program
$500 to Trenton United Methodist Church for the Trenton UMC food pantry
$500 to Comfort Fire Department for an AED update
$500 to The Filling Station for general operating support

to Charles Jones III, board president, thanked the community for its support of the Jones County Community Foundation. “We are proud to support these nonprofit programs that are so vital to the community,” he said. “We are grateful to the many generous individuals and organizations that have supported the Jones County Community Foundation and our work to inspire philanthropy across our community.”
