The board of advisors of the Lee County Community Foundation announces local grant awards from its community grantmaking fund.

This year’s nonprofit recipients include:

Christians United Outreach Center of Lee County for the backpack student weekend food program
Helping Hand Clinic for general support
The Salvation Army of Lee County for Lee County Next Step Scholarship Fund

Oliver Crawley, board president, thanked the community for its support of the Lee County Community Foundation. “These grants are important to our community and our quality of life,” he said. “Critical programs would not be possible without the generosity of many individuals and organizations that have supported Lee County’s community fund.”
