Lenoir County Community Foundation awards more than $10,000 in local grants

The board of advisors of the Lenoir County Community Foundation recently announced $10,610 in local grant awards from its community grantmaking fund.

This year the board granted:

• $1,150 to the Autism Society of North Carolina for urgent needs in Lenoir County
• $1,090 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain for the Formula for Impact – Lenoir County
• $1,500 to the Community Council for the Arts for summer children and youth camps
• $3,370 to Neuse Enterprises, Inc. for pandemic recovery relief
• $1,000 to the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill for the Lenoir County Cares Fund
• $2,500 to Special Olympics North Carolina for Special Olympics North Carolina – Lenoir County
