Martin County Community Foundation awards 2018 local grant and scholarship

The board of advisors of the Martin County Community Foundation announces the 2018 local award from its community grantmaking fund and the recipient of the Meredith Griffin Revels Scholarship.

This year the board will award grant funding to Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain for the Formula for Impact program in Martin County. The 2018 recipient of the Meredith Griffin Revels Scholarship is Madison Russell.

Lucia Peel, board president, thanked the community for its support of the Martin County Community Foundation. “We are proud to support this nonprofit program that is so important to our community,” she said. “We are grateful to the many generous individuals and organizations that have supported the Martin County Community Fund and our work to inspire philanthropy across our community.”
