Martin County Community Foundation awards $3,750 in grants 

The Martin County Community Foundation, a North Carolina Community Foundation affiliate, has awarded $3,750 in grants to four organizations supporting the local community.

The board of advisors granted:

“Supporting local nonprofits and community organizations is central to a strong community,” said Kasey Fletcher, advisory board president of the Martin County Community Foundation. “We’re pleased to support these organizations in their work.”

Funds for 2026 grants came from MCCF’s community grantmaking fund. Each year, MCCF’s advisory board uses dollars from its endowment fund to make grants to eligible local organizations, including nonprofits, local governments, schools and churches.

Founded in 2004, MCCF is led by a local volunteer advisory board that understands community needs. In addition to Fletcher, board members include Tina Brown, Chase Conner, Loyall Corey, Angela Ellis, Leslie Johnson and Karen Rogerson.
