Moore County Community Foundation accepting grant applications
The board of advisors of the Moore County Community Foundation is currently accepting grant requests for nonprofit projects funded from its community fund, according to Hugh Bingham, board president.
Funds are available for nonprofit organizations that serve general charitable needs in Moore County through the Moore County Fund and the John W. and Marjorie A. Roffe Fund for health care needs.
Applications are available online only through the website of NCCF. The MCCF grant cycle begins Friday, April 3 through Tuesday, May 12 at noon.
The Moore County Community Foundation is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation. The community fund was established to help support local charitable needs through annual grants. In addition to Bingham, other Moore County Community Foundation board members are: Ellen Airs, Cos Barnes, Betsy Best, Farrell Bushing, Gary Voncannon, Kea Capel, Brantley Clifton, Hugh Hinton, Jr., Anita Holt, Steve Kastner, Stephen Later, Kelly McCrann, Claudia Miller, Dan Pate, Randall Phillips, Alice Robbins, Grants Chair Peggy Richardson Sarvis, William Saunders, Russell Sugg, Pam Wase and David Woronoff.
