Morrisville Community Fund awards $1,700 in grants
The Morrisville Community Fund, a fund of the North Carolina Community Foundation, has awarded $1,700 in grants to three organizations supporting the local community.
The fund granted:
- $650 to Kiran, Inc. for basic needs kits to support safety and stability
- $500 to Meals on Wheels of Wake County for meals for Morrisville seniors
- $550 to Morrisville Community Emergency Response Team for extraction litters and tourniquets for activation team and first aid to-go bags
“We’re privileged to support local nonprofits and organizations with these grants. Helping to ensure collective generosity becomes lasting community support is central to our mission,” said Liz Johnson, Chair of the Morrisville Community Fund.
Each year, the Morrisville Community Fund uses dollars from its endowment to make grants to eligible local organizations, including nonprofits, local governments, schools and churches.
