Morrisville Community Fund offers grants

The Board of Directors of the Morrisville Community Fund announces its grants season for its first year of giving grants to community non-profits, according to Jan Faulkner, Board Chair.

Funds are available for nonprofit organizations that serve general charitable needs in Morrisville.  Applications will be available starting February 16 at (under “Affiliates/Wake/Morrisville”).   The deadline for submitting applications is April 16. Grants typically range from $200 to $500. Priority will be given to projects that align with the "Year of Preparedness" annual theme by the town of Morrisville.

The Morrisville Community Fund is a fund of the North Carolina Community  Foundation.  The community fund was established last year to help support local charitable needs through annual grants.  In addition to Faulkner, Morrisville Community Fund board members are: Liz Johnson, Rick Holcombe, Madhu Sharma, Michelle Nicklis, Carlotta Ungaro, Tom Lowell, Mike Windley, Atef Zaghoul, Olivia Jacob, and Lillian Whitson.
