The competitive grants program is held annually.<\/p>\r\n<p>Advisory board members live and work in Surry County, positioning them to strategically leverage resources, meet local needs and access opportunities. In addition to Williams, board members include Sam Wagoner (vice president), Chris Duggins (secretary\/treasurer), Carol Burke, Tanya Jones, Darren Lewis, Emily Loftis, Morris Samet and Betty Wright.<\/p>\r\n<p>The Mount Airy\/Surry County Community Foundation makes it easy to support your community. You can open an endowment for your favorite cause at any time or contribute to an existing fund in any amount.
