As North Carolina communities continue recovering from Hurricane Florence, we’re humbled to play a part in supporting the nonprofits on the frontlines of helping our neighbors bounce back and build community resiliency.
The NCCF Disaster Relief Fund raised nearly $3 million in the wake of Hurricane Florence and has already supported dozens of local nonprofits across eastern North Carolina that are deeply embedded in the community.
To date, we have allocated $1.5 million in grant funding and are continuing to partner with our statewide grants committee, network of local affiliate foundations and strategic partner organizations to ensure every dollar is stewarded well and goes to the communities that need it most.
As we prepare for this year’s hurricane season, gifts given to the NCCF Disaster Relief Fund will support preparedness for future disasters beginning Aug. 1.
As always, all donations go directly to support communities affected and the Foundation takes no administrative fee.
