New Hanover County Community Foundation awards $47,000 in local grants

The board of advisors of the New Hanover County Community Foundation recently announced $47,000 in local awards from the community grantmaking fund , the Suzanne and George Taylor Endowment, the Food Bank of Coastal Carolina Fund and the 1898 Memorial Fund at a grant awards ceremony. 

This year the board granted:

Kristi Sullivan, board president, thanked the community for its support of the New Hanover County Community Foundation. “We are proud to support these nonprofit programs that are so important to our community,” she said. “We are grateful to the many generous individuals and organizations that have supported the New Hanover County Community Foundation and our work to inspire philanthropy across our community.”
