New Scholarship Fund benefits Martin County

A generous gift from the Estate of Nancy C. Sexton has established the Meredith Griffin Revels Memorial Scholarship Fund. The scholarship fund will be devoted to providing scholarships to residents of Martin County enrolling in an accredited institution of higher education to pursue or complete a degree in nursing or a related medical field. The Martin County Community Foundation Board of Directors will select the Scholarship Committee. The Fund will be available for applicants in 2012, following procedures posted by the North Carolina Community Foundation and the Martin County CF Affiliate.
