Nine non-profits supported by grant funding
The Board of Directors of the Granville County Community Foundation announces nine grant awards to area non-profits, according to Xavier Wortham, Board President.
This year’s non-profit recipients include:
- Area Congregations in Ministry
- Boys & Girls Club of Granville County
- Converting Hearts Ministry for Addicted Men
- Girl Scouts
- Granville County Historical Society Museum
- Granville County Schools
- National Society to Prevent Blindness
- St. Cyprian’s Episcopal Church
- Total Community Fire Department of Berea.
Wortham thanked the community for support of the Granville County Community Foundation. “These grants are important to our community and our quality of life,” he said. “Critical programs that affect many Granville County citizens would not be possible without the generosity of the many individuals and organizations that have supported our unrestricted endowment, which gives grants on an annual basis.”
