{"tinyMCE_dummy":"","title":"Pamlico County Community Foundation awards $2,150 in grants","url":"\/news\/pamlico-county-community-foundation-awards-2150-in-grants","meta":{"title":"","description":"","excludeFromSitemap":"No"},"ordinal":999,"content":"<p>The <a href=\"\/communities\/coastal-plain-south\/pamlico-county\">Pamlico County Community Foundation<\/a> (PCCF) has awarded $2,150 in grants to programs supporting the local community.<\/p>\r\n<p>The board of advisors granted:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>$1,150 to Hope Clinic for transportation to advanced care medical clinics for indigent patients<\/li>\r\n<li>$1,000 to the Pamlico County Foundation for the Aged, Inc. (PCFA) for its ramp construction project<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>Funds for the grants came from PCCF&rsquo;s community grantmaking fund.<\/p>\r\n<p>&ldquo;These grants allow us to support worthy causes in our community,&rdquo; said Heather Brewer, advisory board president of the Pamlico County Community Foundation. &ldquo;With these funds we can invest in our future in a way that makes a tangible difference.&rdquo;<\/p>\r\n<p>PCCF is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation and is led by a local volunteer advisory board.
