Pamlico County Community Foundation awards $2,150 in grants

The Pamlico County Community Foundation (PCCF) has awarded $2,150 in grants to programs supporting the local community.

The board of advisors granted:

  • $1,150 to Hope Clinic for transportation to advanced care medical clinics for indigent patients
  • $1,000 to the Pamlico County Foundation for the Aged, Inc. (PCFA) for its ramp construction project

Funds for the grants came from PCCF’s community grantmaking fund.

“These grants allow us to support worthy causes in our community,” said Heather Brewer, advisory board president of the Pamlico County Community Foundation. “With these funds we can invest in our future in a way that makes a tangible difference.”

PCCF is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation and is led by a local volunteer advisory board. Each year, PCCF uses dollars from its endowment fund to make grants to local nonprofit organizations.
