Pineland College-Edwards Military Institute Endowment Awards Scholarships
Advisors to the Pineland College-Edwards Military Institute Scholarship Endowment announce the award of six scholarships to Sampson County students.
The Pineland College-Edwards Military Institute Scholarship Endowment was established by alumni to honor high school seniors in Sampson County who are interested in pursuing higher education at an accredited college or community college. Applicants must demonstrate character, financial need, service to the community, and scholarship. The North Carolina Community Foundation administers the scholarship endowment.
This year scholarships were awarded to Harrison Butler, Jessica Edwards, Emily Williamson, Majesta Young, Madeline Worley, and Meghan Elizabeth Parker.
Butler is a graduating senior from Roseboro, North Carolina. He plans to attend Wofford College.
Edwards is a graduating senior from Roseboro, North Carolina. She plans to attend East Carolina University.
Williamson is a graduating senior from Clinton, North Carolina. She plans to attend NC State University.
Young is a graduating senior from Newton Grove, North Carolina. She plans to attend Meredith College.
Worley is a graduating senior from Clinton, North Carolina. She plans to attend Wake Technical Community College.
Parker is a graduating senior from Roseboro, North Carolina. She plans to attend Sampson Community College.
