Robeson County Community Foundation awards more than $12,000 in local grants
The board of advisors of the Robeson County Community Foundation recently announced $12,080 in local grant awards from its community grantmaking fund.
This year the board granted:
- $1,000 to Action Pathways Inc for feeding those in need – emergency food relief for Robeson County residents
- $1,000 to Communities In Schools of Robeson County for the BakPak Pals program
- $1,500 to Lumberton Rescue and EMS Inc. for technological advancements of emergency care
- $1,000 to Prevent Blindness North Carolina for the Star Pupils Robeson County program
- $1,000 to Robeson County Church and Community Center, Inc. for general operating support
- $1,000 to Robeson County Partnership for Children, Inc. for Exploration Station operations funding
- $1,500 to the Robeson County Public Library for the Summer Reading 2020 – Imagine Your Story program
- $1,000 to the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill for the Robeson County Cares Fund
- $1,000 to The University of North Carolina at Pembroke Office For Regional Initiatives for the 2021 Women’s Empowerment Summit
- $1,000 UNC Pembroke Entrepreneurship/Incubator Thomas Center for Entrepreneurship for the Young Entrepreneurs program
- $1,080 to the United Way of Robeson County for the Kindergarten Readiness in Robeson County program
