Surry Arts Council is beneficiary of Andy Griffith Endowment gift and Mayberry Days support

The Surry Arts Council (SAC) has recieved a gift of $2,640 from the Cindi and Andy Griffith Endowment to support the offering of free children’s programs. The endowment is held by the Mount Airy Community Foundation.

Gifts also are coming in to SAC from other endowments held by the the Mount Airy Community Foundation in support of the Mayberry Days Festival, scheduled this year for Sept. 23-26.
