The Board of Directors of the Granville County Community Foundation is currently accepting applications for the Thad Stem Scholarship and the Donald Patrick Darden Scholarship, which are open to graduating seniors in Granville County.

            The Thad Stem Scholarship was named in honor of Thad Stem, poet and author from Granville County. Preference will be given to applicants with an interest in the literary arts. Deadline for applications is April 25.

            The Donald Patrick Darden Scholarship is a statewide scholarship open to children and grandchildren of members of the North Carolina Highway Patrol and who attend or will attend East Carolina University. Deadline for applications is April 25.
