Third annual Gather2Gether event builds endowment fund

The Board of Directors of the Wake County Community Foundation held its third annual charity auction, called Gather2Gether, on November 1. The event was held at First Citizens Headquarters in Raleigh, with approximately 120 attending. A live auction, overseen by auctioneer Mike Rose of Amramp, preceded a silent auction with about 42 items for attendees to bid on. Music was provided by a quartet featuring musicians from the Triangle Youth Philharmonic. Mitchell’s Catering provided the guests with a delightful array of heavy hors d’oeuvres. Photographer Scott Clevenger captured photos of guests circulating, bidding on silent auction items and enjoying the outstanding art collection of First Citizens Bank. The Board wishes to thank the many sponsors who supported this evening:

By building its endowment with the profits from Gather2Gether, the Board will be able to continue to give grants to local non-profits during its annual grants season. For more information, contact Jeanne Lawson, Northern Piedmont Regional Associate, at NCCF at 919-256-6914.
