UNC School of the Arts for Catawba County Fund awards more than $14,000 in local grants (July 2018)

The board of advisors of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts for Catawba County Fund announces $14,190 in local grant awards.

This year’s recipients include:

$7,590 to UNC School of the Arts for scholarships to Catawba County students
$6,000 to the Western Piedmont Symphony for fee assistance for UNCSA student engagement
$600 to the United Arts Council for the UNCSA Edna Bost Barringer Young Artist Award judges

Fanjoy thanked the community for its support of the UNC School of the Arts for Catawba County Fund. “These grants are important to our community and our quality of life,” she said. “Critical programs would not be possible without the generosity of many individuals and organizations that have supported the fund.”
