Vance County Community Foundation Accepting Grant Applications and Hosting Grants Workshop

The Board of Directors of the Vance County Community Foundation is currently accepting grant requests for community projects funded from its community fund, according to Sarah Wester, Grants Committee Chair.

Funds are available for nonprofit organizations that serve general charitable needs in Vance County. Applications are available online only - look to the left and click on the Applying for Grants tab. The deadline for submitting applications is May 5. A Grant Seekers Workshop will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, 10am-11:30am at the Vance-Granville Community College, Main Campus, Building 8 Conference Room in Henderson. The Vance County Community Foundation is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation. The community fund was established to help support local charitable needs through annual grants.
