Vance County Community Foundation accepting grant applications and hosting grants workshop

The Board of Directors of the Vance County Community Foundation is currently accepting grant requests for community projects funded from its community fund, according to James Edwards, Grants Committee Chair.

Funds are available for nonprofit organizations that serve general charitable needs in Vance County.  Applications are available online only and the deadline for submitting applications is May 6.

A Grant Seekers Workshop will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, 2pm-3:30pm at the Vance-Granville Community College, Main Campus, Building 8 Conference Room in Henderson. Nonprofits can learn where to find grants, how to prepare, and how to apply using an online grants process. Please RSVP your attendance to kcrumpler@nccommunityfoundation.org.
