Wake County Community Foundation announces grant seekers workshop for nonprofits

The Wake County Community Foundation is offering a free grant seekers workshop to interested nonprofits to assist in submitting applications for funding.  On Thursday, April 17, a workshop will be held from 10:30am-12pm at the NC Community Foundation’s office, 4601 Six Forks Road, Suite 524, Raleigh, NC 27609. Please RSVP to kcrumpler@nccommunityfoundation.org by April 15, 2014.

Funds are available for nonprofit organizations that serve general charitable needs in Wake County.  Priority will be given to projects that target essential needs such as food, clothing, shelter, medicine and job training, and have annual budgets of $500,000 or less. The purpose of the workshop is to explain the Foundation’s grants process, where to find information, and how to prep and apply for grants, using an online system.

Applications are available online only.
