Wake County Community Foundation awards more than $15,000 in grants

The Wake County Community Foundation has awarded $15,630 in grants to organizations supporting the local community.

The board of advisors granted:

Funds for the grants came from WCCF’s community grantmaking fund and the Friends of BOMA Charitable Endowment.

“These organizations make important investments in our county,” said Ellen Gorham, advisory board president of the Wake County Community Foundation. “So we are privileged to invest in them.”

WCCF is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation and is led by a local volunteer advisory board. Each year, WCCF uses dollars from its endowment funds to make grants to nonprofits that help the local community.

Wake County Community Foundation Advisory Board Members
