The Board of Directors of the Granville County Community Foundation is currently accepting applications from seniors on the campus of J.F. Webb High School for the John Anthony Little Scholarship, according to Paige Little, Scholarship Chair.
The scholarship was established by Little and Royster, Cross and Hensley, LLP, and is administered by the Granville County Community Foundation, an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation.
Scholarships are available for students meeting various eligibility requirements detailed on the scholarship page of this website, where applications also can be downloaded. Applications also may be available at Webb high schools at both guidance offices. Deadline for submitting applications is April 25.
The John Anthony Little Memorial Scholarship was established in 2010 to honor the memory of John, a Granville County native and J.F. Webb graduate who passed away in a tragic car accident in November of 2008. The $5000 scholarship provides an opportunity for a graduating Webb senior who demonstrates a sense of moral obligation to the world around them. The recipient will pursue a degree from an accredited institution (four-year, two-year, or community college or university).
Other scholarships are available to Granville County high school students and can be found on the scholarship page. Good luck, seniors!
